GDPGross Domestic Product, was first devised in 1934 by Simon Kuznets for a US Congress report. In 1944, after the Bretton Woods Conference, GDP was recognized as one of the primary tools to measure the health of a country’s economy.
Essentially, Gross Domestic ProductGDP, is the market value of all officially recognized final goods and services produced within a country in a given period of time.  Also, GDP is sometimes considered as a measure of country’s standard of living.
